Assheton Curzon, 1st Viscount Curzon of Penn was born on 2 February 1729/30.1 He was the son of Sir Nathaniel Curzon, 4th Bt. and Mary Assheton.1 He married, firstly, Esther Hanmer, daughter of William Hanmer and Elizabeth Jennens, on 21 February 1756.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Grosvenor, daughter of Sir Robert Grosvenor, 6th Bt. and Jane Warre, on 6 February 1766.1 He married, thirdly, Anna Margaretta Meredith, daughter of Amos Meredith and Joanna Cholmondeley, on 17 April 1777.1 He was also reported to have been married on 23 February 1756.3 He died on 21 March 1820 at age 90.1
He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Buckinghamshire between 1754 and 1780.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Buckinghamshire between 1792 and 1794.1 He was created 1st Baron Curzon of Penn, co. Buckingham [Great Britain] on 13 August 1794.1 He was created 1st Viscount Curzon of Penn, co. Buckingham [Great Britain] on 27 February 1802.1
